CardSkinz is based in Abidjan and specializes in custom laser-engraved metal cards designed to keep the same everyday functionality as your original bank card.

“Where is my card going?”

Your card is delivered directly to our secure workshop in Abidjan. Once received, your metal card upgrade is carefully prepared, engraved, and assembled. You will be updated throughout the process until your card is ready for pickup or delivery.

“Is my information safe?”

Your banking information is never copied or stored. We only transfer your original chip and magnetic stripe into the new metal card. No sensitive banking access or account data is required during the process.

Your card will NOT be charged or used during the upgrade. For extra peace of mind, we still recommend temporarily locking/freeze your card from your banking app while the conversion is being completed.

On average, the full metal card upgrade is completed the same day, depending on the selected design and level of customization.

Once we receive your card at our workshop, we begin the laser engraving and secure chip transfer process as quickly as possible to minimize the time you are without your card.

Each metal card is carefully engraved, assembled, and tested before being prepared for pickup or delivery.

Our priority is to provide fast turnaround, precise craftsmanship, and premium quality, ensuring your upgraded metal card is ready and returned to you as quickly as possible.

1. Choose Your Design: Select one of our premium designs or request your own custom engraving for your metal card.
2. Order Confirmation: Once you have chosen your design, contact us on WhatsApp at +225 07 58 88 18 66 to place your order. We will then send you the instructions for sending your card to us, or you can visit our workshop in person.
3. Laser Engraving: Your new metal card is professionally laser engraved with your selected design and finish.
4. Chip & Magnetic Stripe Transfer: We carefully transfer your original chip and magnetic stripe from your plastic card into the new metal card to preserve its everyday functionality.
5. Assembly & Testing: Every card is assembled with precision and tested to ensure proper fit, durability, and functionality.
6. Pickup or Delivery: Once completed, your upgraded premium metal card is carefully packaged and prepared for pickup or delivery.

Important Note:
Your original plastic card will no longer function after the chip transfer, since the original chip is moved directly into the new metal card. Please note that contactless payment will no longer be active on the metal card.
